What happens when you mix good ol' fashioned RPG style with FPS? You get Borderlands, Gearbox's newest creation. The first thing you notice about this game is obviously the visuals. A risky graphical challenge that embodies you into a comic book-like world, with real life blood, hurt, and pain. Not essentially your typical RPG, then again not your typical FPS either. Borderlands is a loot hunting game very similar to the game Diablo, made by Blizzard (which I do own, and still love), with the exception of character creation in depth. Mainly you are limited to just name change and color schemes. Not such a bad deal given the fact that there will be other upgrades and skill that will bolster your attention.
What is the purpose of Borderlands? What makes this game so unique? Well I'll tell you.
