Senior Vice President of Marketing, SONY, Peter Dille states that Sony can "...own entertainment"
With the new price cut and the leaner, meaner "SLIM PS3" hitting the shelves, as well as the recent cut in price for the already shelved PS3, SONY is ready to focus on "moms and families". What were they doing before, I dunno. Without losing it's grip on hardcore gamers, SONY wants to get in good with moms and dads' wallets. Holiday season coming soon, seems about right. But do we think that SONY can dominate on the gaming entertainment industry?
"We have been a game company for years and we would never walk away from that, but research confirmed there is a larger proposition under our nose. We wanted to reposition as a total entertainment solution. We felt like we can really own entertainment."What do you think?
