What can be said? Who doesn't like a little zombie bashing? November 17th 2009 we all will dive back into the blood bath that is Left4Dead 2.

This latest title will take place in the backdrop of the bayou in Louisiana. Gameplay is similar to the first installment with a few adjustments.

First, the swamps are the new terrain. There are some new enemies, of course. We have a new breed called the Spitters. These guys spit a fiery acid that travels a decent distance. If you're hit, you take damage. That's not what makes these critters dangerous. They don't have to hit you with the fiery acid. If it hits the ground it forms a napalm like ring that if you walk into you'll receive damage pretty rapidly. Best to wait it out (5-10 seconds).

Also new is the adrenaline injectors. These are like pills, but with an added bonus that allows you to plow through a horde of zombies. Explosive rounds seem to be making their appearance also. They send the zombies to the skies. Watch your ammo, there aren't many of them (about a clip or so at a time).

Unfortunately, there seems to be a bit of controversy over the release of L4D2. Many fans are convinced that this is nothing more than an expansion pack at its best, and that they should not (and some will not) have to pay full price for something they do not consider "another" game. They feel that the improvements made in this title could have been easily created as DLC for the existing title.

We await to see how far this boycott of Valve will go. Personally, I don not have any quams with the game. I am actually looking forward to it. I can understand what some of the fans are saying, but all in all, this title L4D2 looks impressive.
