Need for Speed Shift. EA decided this time around to employ a different company to take on this phenomenal franchise. We welcome Slightly Mad Studios. Not a new company, they were involved with the fun GTR racing series games on the PC. It's apparent that they know exactly what the people want with their installment of this series.

Starting off in this game you will only have 2 choices; Start Career and Options. Picking career will place you behind the wheel of a BMW M3, with all of the assists turned off for a lap at Brands Hatch.
Afterwards you are given your results and what kind of difficulty level is suited for you, kinda like the training mission in the start of COD4.

Once orientation is done, and you have adjusted your driving setting, you are placed in a two lap race on the same course. The outcome of that race will determine your starting money: $25k-$35k. Completing this race opens up the other options including quick race and online options.

I am very eager to get my hands on this NFS title. Read more of this article at IGN.com
