As I scour around the web looking for the best possible information to give to you, the readers, I manage to visit some of the best Gaming sites out there. As I develop this blog into what could be a web log of proportionate size, I am inclined to pass over to you what sites, and where I spend much of my time, besides in front of my T.V. yelling and screaming at the unforgiving unfairness that COD4 gives you on Veteran Mode, argh!....Mile High Club take 2,048!! I'll get you yet!
Ahem, back to what I was saying, so here's a quick shot of a few sites I am a member of, I also encircled my username on them, I don't want any readers or publishers of those sites thinking I'm just using their name for name's sake. I am a registered member of each site I show you, or blog I suggest to you. Happy Gaming!
First off the press is, N4G.com. I visit here quite often. Packed full of updates, reviews, previews and the latest scoop on your favorite game or console. Sure to please the most avid gamer. Check it out!
Next on the list is of course, IGN.COM. Why are they second and not first? IGN is great! They are chocked full of sweet tasting gaming morsels. I normally visit this site. I came across N4G.COM while doing my normal surf n search and I just got hooked. I also like that they give you straight reviews. IGN.COM gives fantastic reviews, but sometimes you're just not in the mood for SO much text, you want it straight up. IGN.COM offers great interviews, reviews, previews, cheats and guides. I love their forums, and their readers comments. Great site to be a part of!
G4TV.COM has been a favorite of mine just basically from the T.V. show. I like the speakers they have on there, and I miss LayLa giving me my fresh feed. The site is well designed and full of good content. I enjoy the level of commitment to the readers that G4TV.COM offers when it comes time for E3, or any other convention. They make sure to give you as much top notch information as humanly possible and they are very much appreciated for that. G4TV.COM, as always you rock!
Next up on the list is GAMEFAQS.COM. Now this site has it's quirks, but it's all in all a very informative site. More of a user based service, in which most of the content on the site comes directly from it's users, or is submitted by third party. They do a relatively good job of screening their material, as many of the submissions are accurate, or from an 'in-game' stand point. The forums/boards alone is a great reason to vistit. The guys there are hilarious. Check it out!
We have Game Stats. Game statistics, ratings, reviews and previews. Very resourceful and informative. Partnered with IGN.COM, they share information but offer more in-depth coverage on gaming, games, and consoles.
I'll leave off here for now with this one last entry (for now). Have any of you heard of Ben Heck? Well this guy's been burning up the web with his mods. Not necessarily news, but for the techies out there, this is GOLD. This guy converted an XBOX 360 into a laptop! His latest venture, you guessed it, the PS3 Slim. He has already tackled the PS3 "fat", as he calls it, and the results were amazing. Can't wait to see the end results on this one. Take a look at his site, and follow the production.
