The Maine Christian Civic Group is calling for a ban of MW2 Games. Saying that the game depicts and displays too much violence. The group also states that these kinds of games are the reasoning behind the gun violence in our school system. I beg to differ. Anyone who takes a game and cannot separate fact from fiction should not be playing that game. They should be seeking psychological help. To try and ban, badger or sue a gaming industry for creating fantasy is just absurd. If there was to be a ban of MW2 (highly unlikely), they there should also be a ban on the military's $32 million attempt at creating 'real life' war experiences in their game.

IW=fantasy...USArmy=real world experience, and they want to ban IW? Somethings not right there. I agree everyone is entitled to their opinion, freedom of speech and all, but this honestly makes me a little upset that a Christian group can single out IW and their MW series and blame them for the gun violence in school. What about movies, tv shows, everyday life (for some), the constant coverage of the war in Iraq? I guess they feel they should attack whoever is the easiest to attack. It's a shame though, I'm sorry that you guys at iW have to go through such things over a video game. It's really sad. IMHO.
